Please help us welcome our August guest designer, Soonju Lee!
My name is SoonJu Lee and I’m living in Incheon Korea. I am a housewife with a 15 year old son. I began scrapbooking in 2004 and from then I have been on working steadily. Sometimes I have work in volunteer team for children classes.
It’s rewarding and fun. So my wish is to do the work for a long time. I am very pleased to be invited a guest designer in this month.
Q: What is your favorite storage method for scrapbooking items?
A: I think that anything that I can see will be most probably used quicker, so currently I prefer all sorts of plastic containers.
Q: How did you get started scrapbooking?
A: I wanted to decorate some more beautiful album of my baby. So I searched the Internet and fell in love!
Q: Do you follow trends? If so, what it your favorite right now and how do you incorporate it into your work?
A: I’m sensitive to the trends, which is clearly important. But too much sensitive in that, i think that will be apt to lose my own style. I try to work in my style.
Q: What is your must have supply and why?
A: I enjoy simple scrapbooking and mixed media. I love ink very much. Especially I enjoy splatter techniques.
Q: How did you get on your first design team?
Q: Any advice for those wanting to design on a team?
A: Try to post your work in the gallery and participate in the challenges often. And also enjoy the work and be earnest persistently.
Thanks so much for your beautiful work this month, Soonju! We loved every single bit of it!
