TGIF everyone!

Today we’re pairing with our DT friends Kasia and Magda to promote their new online magazine Chasing Dreams !

In celebration of their first issue we are hosting a fun giveaway.

We were thrilled to sponsor one of the articles in the first issue. In the article you can see inspiring mini- albums with our May kits! They tell a story of celebrating the little things in life . You can read the article on Page 42.

Now Kasia and Magda would like to hear from you about your favorite ways to celebrate!

Tell us...what are your favourite rituals to make day to day moments special?

Write a comment under this post and take part in our give way. The giveaway will be open through May 23 when we will draw a winner who will win a May Gossamer Blue kit of your choice.

On Saturday mornings, my guy wakes me up with fresh & hot Tim Horton’s coffee and a fruit explosion muffin. I know it’s a great way to start the day and I love this weekly ritual that makes me feel special and loved!

What a nice digital mag. I wish it was in print. I like to touch and feel it. It has a wide varitey of info.

My day to day moments are special anytime I get to spend much needed time with my kids. If I didn’t have to work I wouldn’t. We make sure we always eat supper together and talk about what we did that day. With life being so busy we make sure with have together time. That is just special to see my kids interact and just talk about their life experiences (at 4 and 6 they are so trivial. :)) I love my day to day moments. no matter how insignificant they are to others.

One of my favorite rituals is how my husband wakes my son up for school with kisses every morning. And also our nightly bath time ritual of giving the kids a shower in the tub, both kids so look forward to it!

Congrats to both ladies for the launch of their magazine!

The moment I open my eyes, I thank the Lord for giving me another day. That sets the tone for the rest of my day. =)

Favourite rituals? I have a lot of them really. I don’t watch tv, but every day I try to start a day with tea and an episode of my favourite tv shows (According to Jim, Grey’s Anatomy ets. depends on the day). I also have a little ritual with instagram, I try to make one photo a day or at least one in two days and it’s always a little challenge to think of a nice photo.. πŸ™‚

Chasing Dreams Magazine is just incredible, I want a printed version!

One of my favorite weekend rituals is that when my kids wake up- they come and sit on my lap and give me a good morning hug! Love it!

Great magazine!!

What a great magazine, love the spirit and the colours!!
My favourite ritual is when i go home after work and i listen music in the subway. I know i’ll be home soon and can relax

Oh wow…what a delight! I’m smitten with your first issue! Congratulations!
Fabulous competition too!

Everyday rituals are so many in a day… so I shut my eyes to see which one comes to forefront first…. and ….. its in the afternoon, picking my girls up from school…… I learn so much from them in that drive home, the incessant chatter of ‘Guess what happened today at school!!’ Each day in our little car – a different emotion or many, but in that drive home, its all sorted, justified, laughed off, congratulated or solved. I will miss incredibly this one day.

Morning coffee and alone time in between the times when my son leaves, then daughter leaves for school. Quiet time to relax, read the news, and charge up for the day – both on weekdays and weekends. My days didn’t used to start like this – they were much more hectic…so I thank god for quiet moments!
Congrats to these ladies on this beautiful new publication – wonderfully photographed, and great pieces of inspiration!

What a gorgeous magazine! Those ladies are so talented and I’m really looking forward to so many more issues!

My favourite way to celebrate the little things is to snap a quick photo (most of the time with my phone) and later scrap it (in a mini album, layout, PL…).

Every morning I try to spend 5 more minutes in bed, in a big hug with my husband, we give each other the good day and talk about what we will do during the day. This is my favourite moment of the day. πŸ™‚

I often will take photos with my phone and text them to my husband while he is at work with a short “story” about what they are showing. I love that he can get a little glimpse of what’s happening at home, and he loves seeing the little moments that my daughter and I have throughout the day! At the end of each month, I go back through my texts and add the stories into the metadata of my photos as captions. It’s a bit more natural that way– since I was “talking” to him, the stories are more in my “real voice.”

I alternate Saturday morning breakfasts between my two sons, who have very different Breakfast taste. My oldest, who is 14, asks for Waffles. My youngest, who is 10, asks for bacon, gravy, and biscuits with grape jelly. I gladly oblige, knowing they are nearly grown.

Wow, the magazine is gorgeous. I enjoy sipping my cup of coffee at my desk at work every morning. I love my job and the coffee ritual before students arrive in the morning sets me up for a fabulous day. Another little ritual I have is snuggling with my youngest on weekend mornings. Things change so quickly. A ritual that I miss is walking with my youngest to the bus stop to pick up her siblings. I am teaching full time again this year, so that little pleasure is a rare treat.

All the best with the magazine.

Saturday rituals are best. The first one to wake up makes cinnamon rolls for everyone. The smell always brings all of us out of bed and we enjoy together before starting our usually busy day! Best of luck with the magazine.

sitting on our deck to just be. and now that summer is almost here, gathered around the campfire with friends.

My favorite day to day ritual is starting my day with a walk with my dog. She’s happy to be outside, and I’m happy to start the day with a bit of fresh air.

Love the magazine & congrats! I got sidetracked & read through it all!
Fave time is after I take my girls to school, I grab a tall mug of tea w/a snack and read my fave scrapbook blogs or Jot magazine & now I can add Chasing Dreams!
Our every weekend ritual is our girls’ club soccer games/tournaments. Pack up the car w/sunscreen, snacks, shade & chairs & we’re off!

OH this magazine is beyond delicious! Pure eye candy. So so so beautiful. My favorite rituals to make day to day moments special – use beautiful things! use my favorite pen to jot notes, use fun notepads instead of plain post it notes – basically add a little “pretty” to my life every day.

my Q&A 5-year journal – every day I answer one question.
+ daily art journaling. nothing fancy, just some scribbling, some writing, glueing and maybe a splash of paint. quick and easy. and so soothing for the soul…

I love having coffee out on my deck and watching the sun rise…especially when the birds are singing. So perfect and peaceful!

every day, i wake up petting my cats, before i leave the house i say good bye to them and when i go to bed i hug them to sleep. their little furry bodies and smells make me feel so lucky and happy to be their human. i love waking up when i hear the birds singing outside my apartment, i live near a wooded area and there are so many birds in there, they break out in song at 6am every morning, never before 6 i noticed.

Congratulations on such a beautiful magazine!! My daily ritual is actually a night time ritual. Every night I tuck my kids into bed and we talk about our “good and bad” of the day. They tell me their favorite part of their day and tell me why. And then their worst part of their day and tell me why. It has opened up some really great conversations. And for some reason, they are more likely to open up more when they are laying in bed snuggled up to me. I hope to continue this nighttime ritual for as long as they let me!

I like to start my morning by reading creative friends’ blogs. I usually have an hour or so to myself before the rest of the family gets up and I love to spend that time being inspired and connecting with my blogging friends from around the world. They always put a smile on my face and start the day off right.
