Creating with Alpha Stickers

Hi guys! Vanessa here. Today I’m sharing this easy layout that I created using alpha stickers! I love stickers, so much that I have a tendency to hoard them, leaving me with a crazy collection of alphas. The Main Kit includes an amazing sheet of letter stickers of different sizes, which is what inspired me to create this layout.

Sometimes when you get overwhelmed with your craft supplies, you just need to go back to simplifying. Less is more!

For this layout, I really only used three things from the kits.
Supplies used: white 8.5×11 cardstock, 12×12 sticker sheet and chipboard stickers from the Main Kit, alpha stickers from Life Pages Kit.

I obviously wanted words to be the focus of this layout. Rather than doing my own journaling, I chose a quote that has stuck with me for years from one of my favorite television shows. It’s lengthy, but it has a really good message and fit so well with this photo of me.

The first thing I did was print out the quote and trim it up so that I had strips of the lines from the quote. Because it was so long, I didn’t want the entire quote in stickers. I picked certain words and phrases that stood out to me to highlight with letter stickers.

After working through this layout, and actually, as I type away, I’m thinking of keeping this on my clipboard and hanging it up as word art on my inspiration board. This was good exercise for using up those letter stickers from the kit. So, if you’re like me and have this fear of running out of letter stickers, I hope this inspires you to get them out and finally put them to use.

‘Til next time!

Vanessa this is beautiful. The quote alone is beautiful. I love how you chose certain words to highlight in stickers and I like the look of using stickers to create words on a layout. I may try this on a card actually. Thanks for the inspiration!
