I’m France Wisniewski. A graphic designer and budding novelist. I discovered my love of words and images early on in the pages of a beautifully illustrated Hans Christian Andersen book and went on to study English Literature in college. I think my former job as a researcher helped me to gain an understanding of history and the importance of storytelling. Today, I delight in combining simple design and my love of the written word when recording my own stories for my future self. I find memorykeeping to be an integral part of my self expression and use it as a way to define and celebrate a life that isn’t quite traditional.
I have lived in four states in the last 6 years and have finally settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my creative director husband Keith and beloved Heeler/Beagle Ronin. When I’m not cutting and pasting or trying to make a deadline, I adore being outside, reading historical fiction and true crime novels, knitting, spa days, anything set to French music and making up my own rap songs. An average day finds me sans make-up save for a bit of lipgloss, wearing all grey, my hair up, muttering to myself and drinking multiple cups of tea. I’m thrilled to be part of such a talented and inspiring group. Thanks for having me.
