Hello everyone!! Kymona from Kreative Kymona here to share with you how I documented my Saturday Fun in a traveler’s notebook.
April’s Scrapbooking Kit is full of pretty patterned papers and beautiful embellishments. As a matter of fact it’s a kit calling for the summer time. Which is totally awesome since I’m so ready for the summer to come.
When I looked through the kit, I knew that I wanted to use the beautiful patterned paper to decorate my traveler’s notebook. I wanted to keep the cover pretty neutral since I wasn’t sure what I wanted to fill the inside with.
Let’s take a look:
I used Crate Paper Oasis Sunset pretty pink and purple blended paper to cover the journal! I measured the entire notebook, which is 9 x 8.5 and cut the paper according.
Then I added the die cut word from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection and adhered it to the front of the notebook. I also added stars and a sticker sentiment from the sticker packs from both collections.
Here’s a close up:
Now the inside of the notebook is super fun! Lets take a look:
My Saturdays are always filled with work, chores, running around with kids and crafting at times. This Saturday was a super fun one. My daughter and nieces showed me how to use SnapChat and boy did I have fun with it.
While the car was going through the car wash, I decided to test this app out. I haven’t laughed so hard. I couldn’t wait to get home so that I could print out these pictures and add them to my new traveler’s journal.
The colors from the photos matched the stickers in the April Scrapbooking kit perfectly. I printed the pictures to fit the notebook and went to work.
1. I added the “WKND” stickers first so that they had space.
2. Then I added my photos.
3. After that, I added the rest of the stickers randomly where they made sense.
4. Once that was complete, I added my journaling. My handwriting isn’t perfect but its mine so why not use it.
Super simple and easy. I plan on adding random things in this notebook daily!!
So what do you think? Please let me know below what you think. I give you permission to laugh at my photos, I do. They are so funny!!
I hope I’ve inspired you to look at different ways to use the Main Kit!
Thanks for stopping by!
