Hello GB friends! Jill with you today sharing a simple page created with the Traveler’s Notebook papers along with a mix of embellishments from the Main Kit, Life Pages Kit and the Planner Kit. I love mixing up the products from all four Gossamer Blue kits, I find that they are all different styles that flow together perfectly.
I started my page by adhering the blue stars, yellow ombre and hello sunshine papers to white cardstock. I used scraps of the yellow and sunshine papers on this page, embracing the torn edges from tearing the papers to mat the 3×4 photo on this layout.
I used white thread and my sewing machine to add lots of texture to my page, plus I love the look of loose threads on my pages.
The photo rests on tissue paper and coordinating patterned papers. I tucked a label behind the layers, then added the perfect chipboard piece right on the photo.
I adore all things that talk of adventure, so the ticket die cut below the photo fit nicely on this page about my girly searching the sky with her binoculars. Plus, the yellow matches the ombre paper perfectly.
The title is a mix of alpha stickers and one of the fabulous rubber banners. I added a puffy gold arrow above the title and used a date stamp below.
I placed a ton of the tiny circle and heart stickers from the Planner Kit, mixed in with word stickers, to create a flow from the top of the page to the bottom. I added a strip of blue star washi on the right side of the page to balance the blue on the left. I finished with some gold spray splatters from my stash.
