We have some January inspiration for you from design team member Christine Middlecamp. Christine created this “Lovely Pair” layout using our January kits.

Christine is known for her detailed layering and this layout is no exception. We love the journaling down the side of the page and the multicolored mists splatters.

Here she took the Studio Calico Van Dyke paper from the main kit and punched several sizes of sunbursts to create a fabulous layered floral element topped with a button and brad.

She stamped an arrow with the Pink Paislee Portfolio stamps from the Bits & Pieces kit and embossed it with the gold Zing embossing powder from the Color kit. She uses quite a bit of gold throughout her layout and it adds a touch of warmth and glamor to the page.

You can see close up of the mist splatters on this image. We love the addition of the gold glitter tape tucked into the Crate Paper layered title sticker.

This is another gorgeous example of layering paper to create a stunning floral element. To do this she punched a large flower out of patterned paper, cut out a larger pattern from an October Afternoon paper and used an October Afternoon die cut. She topped it all off with two buttons.
