Hello everyone! Can you believe it is already February? Before we get to far into the year I like to create a layout with my One Little Word® (from Ali Edwards). Although I have already written out my intentions for my word “Cultivate” in my planner, I like to create a traditional layout too.
It is fun to look back on my One Little Word® layouts through the years. I love the bright colors of the Scrapbook Kit and knew it would be perfect, along with the Fancy Pants sticky flags for documenting my word and the areas I would like to focus on in 2017.
I decided to be playful in my placement with the patterned papers and created a patchwork pattern around a recent photo of myself.
Using flowers in the coordinating Fancy Pants die cuts pack I placed a cluster of flowers in the bottom corner of my photo and framed it with my word “cultivate”. I wanted to arch my title around the top of the flowers and used a circle metal die as my guide for placement.
I used the sticky flags for documenting the areas I want to focus on cultivating throughout the year. Last month, I discussed how I wanted to cultivate creativity. One of those items was more meaningful layouts and journaling. In keeping with this goal, I included detailed ideas and thoughts for each word listed on the sticky flags.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
