Gossamer Blue

Hi there. It’s Sian here today, catching up with the July kits after a crazy month here. As soon as I saw the kits for July I knew I’d be using up every last scrap to document our trip to Scotland. The colours re just right. I took a lot of pictures while I was away, very many of them with my phone, and sometimes I was captured as I was snapping. So I made a page to record the moment.

It was inspired by that sticker I used as my title “Two Can Play at that Game”.

I printed my picture out three times for more impact; and, as a final touch, I created some dimension (to reinforce the idea of me popping up with my camera) my trimming the letters for “July” from a Life Pages card and then raising them on pop dots.

After I’d finished I found on my desk the smaller sized prints I’d made, so I decided to take the basics of my page design and repeat them in a card I could use to mail out a few pictures to family. Grandma likes real photos to have on display! Here it is:

a photo of me taking photos, to accompany…a card full of photos.

Happy scrapping!
